How to know what compound bow is best for you?

First of all, there objectively is no one bow that is good for everyone. To know what compoung is best for every hunter is a relative question, as compound bow hunters can tell you, it is mainly based on preference and importance. There are bows that have a much higher FPS than others, and some that have higher draw weights than others, and the same goes with draw length. Many people, when looking to purchase a new bow tend to find a bow that is a bit similar in nature to their previous bow, or tend to upgrade their specifications a little, for example to a higher FPS, and more expansive draw length. All in all, it is still best to try out these compound bows that you are interested in, give it a few runs, before making the cash out.
