FISHING AND HUNTING LICENSES NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE!
Governor purchases her own fishing license and praises convenient new system.

CONCORD, N.H. - Some mornings you just can't wait for the corner store to open so you can get your fishing license and hit the water early.
Now you don't have to wait. You can buy your fishing and hunting licenses online anytime from your own home computer.
After months of development and testing, New Hampshire Fish and Game's new online licensing system is ready. Just visit www.wildlife.state.nh.us (or www.nhfishandgame.com) and purchase a license. You'll need to have handy your driver's license, credit card (Visa or MasterCard), and if you want to hunt, a copy of last year's hunting license. Aside from hunting and fishing licenses, you can purchase a moose lottery application and permits and licenses for archery, clamming, muzzleloader, pheasant, bear, wild turkey, and wildlife habitat. Nonresidents can purchase year-long licenses, as well as seven-, three- and one-day fishing licenses, or three-day small game hunting licenses.
Gov. Jeanne Shaheen today found out how easy it is to buy a license online. "Letting people buy their hunting and fishing licenses online will save them - and state government - time and money," she said. "This initiative is an important step forward in our ongoing efforts to use technology to improve state services."
Fish and Game's new online license sales program is part of a pilot program to use technology to increase the efficiency of state government and improve services. The state has also recently developed an online licensing program for architects and engineers.
The new online license system was developed by New England Interactive Inc. of Augusta, Maine, and GreatLodge.com Inc., of Jackson, Wyoming. New England Interactive is also developing the online hunting and fishing license system for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. GreatLodge.com has handled online licensing for Georgia, Nebraska and other states.
New Hampshire Fish and Game's new online system uses a secure server to safeguard your information, and the site is certified by Verisign Digital Trust Services.
